Making potting soil

I usually use a ratio of coconut coir, perlite, and VC to make potting soil, but this time was a bit different.

I have noticed how dry it is in my house, since I have been having to top off the AP system more frequently than ever. I think it is the forced air heating. Anyway the house plants have also been drying out quickly so, hoping to fix the moisture problem,  I added vermiculite this time.

I have not been able to source coconut coir easily up here in MN, so I had to substitute peat moss.

I mixed the potting soil with a pitchfork in a large RM bin and 2 med. size ones.

I filled the large bin halfway with peat moss and VC mixture.
